About Us

Owner Nunzio Procope is originally from Naples, a very well known city of Southern Italy; Internationally Famous for its rich history, art, culture, architecture, music and above all for its gastronomy. Having worked as a Chef in renowned Italian restaurants in and around Naples, Nunzio moved to England in February 2000. He acquired further knowledge and expertise working in various Italian restaurant s in around London and the south coast. In August 2006 he decided to combine his many years of experience and open “Il Rusticó” together with partners Luigi Alighieri and wife Tania Procope.

Il Rusticó‘s cuisine is based on both traditional and modern cuisine using only the freshest of ingredients, and the service is very friendly and professional with a relaxed atmosphere. Bringing together years of experience, wide knowledge of Italian cuisine and professionalism, you are welcomed to Il Rusticó by its owners, Manager Nicola Scotto and all the rest of the staff.
